| Kindergarten |
Kindergarten is a dynamic time of growth and development. For most kindergarteners, this year is all about the introduction to, and
acquisition of the most basic academic skills especially the language arts, writing and match skills which become the cornerstone of every
child’s education.
The HMC Kindergarten is a 5 day program designed to provide many daily opportunities for learning in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Within the framework of our thematic units and structured by our curriculum goals, our kindergarten class will develop and strengthen many
skills as we explore a broad range of interesting and exciting topics. We use A Beka educational materials as the basic for our language
arts and mathematics. Our Christian education components ensure that we are learning good social skills and important values as we work
together throughout the year.
We are a Maryland State Certified Kindergarten.
